How do you bargain?
Do Chinese people bargain?
What do you think of bargaining?
l Where can you bargain? Why?
When people go shopping, especially in street market or some small stores, they frequently bargain with the seller on every commodity. For one thing, people can gain more discounts from the bargain, which will make the goods they want to buy more cost-effective. For another, some people also can obtain great pleasure and sense of satisfaction from the bargaining process.
l How do you bargain?
I would like to say: May I have some discount if I buy two of them. Or, do you have the penny sale? Or, Can I buy one get one free?
l Do Chinese people bargain?
Actually, Chinese people like to bargain in the market, especially for the elderly ladies, they always want to buy the goods in discount and hope the cheaper price. Therefore, almost all of retailers have raised the price in advance when they face the elderly lady in order to provide elderly lady with the opportunity of bargaining.
l Do Chinese people bargain?
In China, bargaining in a common practice, which has been deeply rooted in most Chinese minds. Apart from large-sized shopping malls where the price of commodities are fixed, Chinese people enjoy the process of bargaining with sellers and will be pleased with the money reduced from the original price.
l What do you think of bargaining?
I have a mixed feeling about bargaining. Of course, it has many benefits just like those mentioned above, and meanwhile it also has some drawbacks. Sometimes the sellers will take the chance to rip off customers. If the price is fixed, this phenomenon is much less likely to occur.

Study or work。
1. What subjects are you studying?
I'm currently studying civil engineering.
Basically what we do is examining the geological conditions, and constructing facilities like railways, buildings, tunnels and bridges.
2. Why did you choose to study that project?
Back in the days when I was in high school, I witnessed the construction of underground railway system in Wuhan. The construction process was long and brought to me great inconvenience, which made me wonder if there is anything can be done to facilitate it. That's when I developed an interest in Civil Engineering, and decided to become an engineer.
3. Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the afternoon.
BTW, I'd like to say 'neither' from the bottom of my heart!
Afternoon it is. Just so you know, like many other college students, I'm a night owl. I usually get up around 10 a.m., and my brain would be a mess in the rest of the morning. It's hard for me to concentrate under that condition, so I would like to study in the afternoon.?
4. Are you looking forward to working?
Definitely, I've always fantasized about what my professional life would be like. However, I couldn't see a bright prospect with my current educational background. So I decided to pursue a graduate level education to enrich myself, and hopefully I can make a difference in my future career.
