Writing task 1
One of your pen pals will shortly be visiting your city. For some reasons, you cannot manage to meet her at the airport on time.

Dear Mary,
I am very much looking forward to your visit to my city. Just think: after all these years of writing to each other, we will finally have the chance to meet! However, I regret to inform you that I will not be able to meet you at the airport as soon as you arrive.

二、9個G類雅思小作文必練題目
1. Letters of complaint and apology
請使用60分鐘完成一篇投訴信題目的列出要投訴的內(nèi)容和一篇致歉信題目中列出的致歉內(nèi)容，不必寫開頭結(jié)尾，僅研磨主體。
2. Letters asking for and giving information
同上，請使用45分鐘回答一篇詢問信題目的要求和一篇信息信題目的要求，不必寫開頭結(jié)尾，只需要回答題目要求的問題，注意每一點都需要覆蓋。
3. Making suggestions or recommendations
請使用45分鐘完成一篇完整的小作文，加上信件的格式，開頭，結(jié)尾，內(nèi)容為建議信。
4. Letters describing likes, dislikes, needs or wants
請使用30分鐘完成一篇完整的小作文，內(nèi)容最好是describing likes, dislikes, needs or wants，也可任選。
5. Analysethe question, write an introduction and conclusion
請使用40分鐘完成一篇大作文的審題，題目最好選擇使用to what extent do you agree or disagree提問的問題。并使用自己的語言復(fù)述一遍題目(不要與題目的寫法相同，盡量用自己的話)，然后定出中心，寫出文章的第一段(開頭)和最后一段(結(jié)尾)。主體部分可以構(gòu)思一下，不需要寫。
6. Getting ideas and planning, paragraphing, presenting and supporting opinions
請使用60分鐘完成另一篇大作文的主體部分，不需要寫開頭結(jié)尾，題目還是選用to what extent do you agree or disagree提問的問題，但與練習(xí)5的題目不同。主體分為三段(根據(jù)自己的習(xí)慣調(diào)節(jié)，不能少于兩段，不能多于四段)，每一段有自己的分論點，分論點要切合主題。
7. Complete an essay
請使用60分鐘完成一篇完整的大作文，題目使用練習(xí)5的題目或選擇另一個類型相同的題目(to what extent do you agree or disagree提問的問題。)。開頭結(jié)尾按照練習(xí)5的方式(練習(xí)5寫完后最好請人修正一下)進(jìn)行，主體按照練習(xí)6的方式(修正后的)進(jìn)行。
8. Complete another essay
請使用45分鐘完成一篇以what are the reasons? Does the advantage outweigh the disadvantages? 或what are the benefits and are there any backwards? 結(jié)尾的文章(即解釋類文章)，字?jǐn)?shù)不要多于350words。完成后仔細(xì)研究自己的中心是否切題。
9. Test simulation
請使用60分鐘完成一篇小作文(任選)+一篇信件(任選)。
