I'm going to talk about a very?famous book named How to Win Friends and ? Influence People, written by Dale Carnegie, who was one of the most influential writers of all time. This book has been an international best-seller for decades and I believe you've heard about it or even read it.
As the name of the book suggests, it's mainly about what we can do to make others like us and strike up friendships. For instance, one simple thing it teaches people is to SMILE whenever we see others. This is extremely important because it's something we ? hope to see when others approach us. Another thing I learned from the book is ? that we can never win an argument so it's best to avoid getting into a quarrel with others.
The first time I read this book was 4 years ago. It was actually a birthday gift from my dad. When I came of age, my dad gave it to me, hoping I could learn from the tips in this book and become a well-liked person. Now that I think about it, this book was the most valuable gift among all the things I got on my 18th birthday, ? although it was the least expensive.
I want to read this book again ? because I'm going to graduate from university in a couple of months, which means I'm about to step into the real world where I will have to deal with ? all kinds of people. Before that, I suppose I'll need to go over all the tips explained in the book and try to get ready for all the challenges that will come my way.
